Hygrip 3% Tablet is used in the treatment of melasma. It is a skin-lightening medicine which lightens the darkened skin patches and spots (hyperpigmentation). It helps in reducing the amount of skin-darkening pigment called melanin in the skin.Before using Hygrip 3% Tablet, apply a very small amount of cream to check for any allergic reactions. You can continue with the treatment if no allergic reaction occurs in 24 hours. To get maximum benefit of the medication, use it at night, before bedtime; if used during daytime avoid prolonged direct sun exposure. When outdoor, used a sunscreen and wear protective clothing on the treated area. Use it regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit of the medication. Do not apply on open wound or infected areas of the skin. Do not get it in your eyes, mouth, or inside of your nose. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.Hygrip 3% Tablet may cause few side effects like dryness, itching, redness, burning and peeling of skin. Stop using if you experience irritation or allergy and consult your doctor.


Alcohol: It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Hygrip 3% Tablet. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy: Hygrip 3% Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Hygrip 3% Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Driving: Hygrip 3% Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. Kidney: There is limited information available on the use of Hygrip 3% Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. Liver: There is limited information available on the use of Hygrip 3% Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If Forget: If you miss a dose of Hygrip 3% Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hygrip 3% Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
